Graph tool closeness centrality vs networkx closeness centrality
It's interesting that when closeness centrality is computed on the same network using graph tool and networkx one sees two different results. Harmonic should be set to true in graph-tool to normalise in a similar fashion to networkx and there seems to be a slight difference where the latter normalises by the number of vertices in the connected component versus the total number of vertices. Still, even when using a graph with only one connected component the numbers that I see differ not only in their values but also in their rank (i.e. when vertices are sorted by the metric, their order is different).
Any thoughts as to why this might be the case?
