can you verify a installation? It seems install has failed...
My installation seems to have failed. But I have no way to verify or check what has gone wrong. OS: linux ubuntu
I added
deb http://downloads.skewed.de/apt/xenial xenial universe
deb-src http://downloads.skewed.de/apt/xenial xenial universe
to sources.list
Then
app-get update
produces suspicious output, last few lines read:
W: The repository 'http://ppa.launchpad.net/fcitx-team/nightly/ubuntu xenial Release' does not have a Release file.
N: Data from such a repository can't be authenticated and is therefore potentially dangerous to use.
N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.
W: http://archive.canonical.com/dists/precise/Release.gpg: Signature by key 630239CC130E1A7FD81A27B140976EAF437D05B5 uses weak digest algorithm (SHA1)
W: http://ppa.launchpad.net/thefanclub/grive-tools/ubuntu/dists/vivid/Release.gpg: Signature by key 2E6D496CA5456A53F8FEC636DF5F82DA7E2426D0 uses weak digest algorithm (SHA1)
W: GPG error: http://downloads.skewed.de/apt/xenial xenial Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 92F371361A7ECE03
W: The repository 'http://downloads.skewed.de/apt/xenial xenial Release' is not signed.
N: Data from such a repository can't be authenticated and is therefore potentially dangerous to use.

E: Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/fcitx-team/nightly/ubuntu/dists/xenial/main/binary-amd64/Packages 404 Not Found
E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
Then app-get install python3-graph-tool
or app-get install python3-graph-tool
produces also suspicious output, as its last lines read below and there is no confirmation whether installation is complete:
Setting up python-scipy (0.17.0-1) ...
Setting up python-graph-tool (2.22-1) ...
Processing triggers for libc-bin (2.23-0ubuntu7) ...
/sbin/ldconfig.real: /usr/local/cuda-8.0/targets/x86_64-linux/lib/libcudnn.so.5 is not a symbolic link
Then I started python, and typed:
import graph_tool.all as gt
I got output:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
ImportError: No module named 'graph_tool'
But running app-get install python3-graph-tool
says that the library is installed
ADD: Also with app-update, for each of the 4 distributions i have errors:
