centrality.eigenvector hangs on simple graph

g = gt.Graph()

g.add_edge(0,1)
g.add_edge(1,2)
g.add_edge(2,1)
g.add_edge(1,0)

e, m = centrality.eigenvector(g)

... hangs. Sure, I can use max_iter, but it seemed to me that this commit was meant to solve this kind of problem.

In [2]: graph_tool.__version__
