Support for printing nodes with non-latin characters?
Hi,
I'd like to draw a graph with nodes using Korean characters, for example:
graph_draw(g, vertex_text="하하")
Unfortunately, these labels come out displaying squares (the 'character not found' symbol) rather than showing up properly. To the best of my understanding, this is a problem with how Cairo works: for example, on StackOverflow the following thread brings up this problem:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/36338949/rendering-asian-characters-using-cairo-in-c
The problem appears to be bypassable if I were coding in C++, but using just graphtool I am locked in. One option is to export the graphml file then run it through another program in another language, but this seems a bit cumbersome. Would it be possible to get support added into graphtool itself? Alternatively, am I missing a solution that already exists?
