modularity, community structure functions

I just upgraded from gt 2.12 to 2.14 via Macports. I have an active project that makes heavy use of the modularity and community_structurefunctions from the old community module. I see that this module was replaced with an inference module. However, this module does not appear to contain the two functions I need. I suspect these functions may be in the community_old module; however, trying to import this module raises the following error:
